* Exercising judgment to determine policy verification and coverage determination.
* writing claim estimates.
* Deciding an appropriate amount that the insurance company should pay out on the insured covered loss.
* Negotiating claim settlements and authorizing payments to vendors.
* Ensuring customer service by proactively communicating information regarding the claim with all involved parties on the ongoing status of the claim.
